CBD is a powerhouse in its own right - but add-in St. Johns' Wort and Lavender oil and wow!! These three come together for pain relief and anti-inflammatory support like no other. Great for nerve pain, cramps, dry skin, muscle and joint aches - I could go on. And I will .... when we come together in this hands-on workshop :) We will make a healing CBD Balm and demystify just what is CBD. We will add in both St. John's Wort and Lavender for their incredible healing gifts. We will melt plant-based butters and waxes with the infused oils to create a solid salve. We will talk about the properties and benefits of each of the ingredients and why they come together in harmony for this special nourishing product. You will walk away with your very own handcrafted balm!! You will learn the basics of creating your own balms and hopefully an appreciation for all that Mother Nature has to offer us and how simple it is to work with her to create our own glorious, magical products. TELL ME MORE ABOUT THESE BALMS While infused oils are oh so lovely in their own right, a balm is another way to work with nature to heal ourselves. Balms are hardened into a tin, but still soft enough for us to scoop out what we need. They are easy for our skin to absorb to get that healing happening on contact. The infused oils are the star ingredient, but we add plant-based butters and waxes to bind it all together. HOW DOES THE WORKSHOP WORK? You will receive a box of all you need in advance of the workshop (details below). We will meet live on Zoom in our kitchens to melt the ingredients together and pour them out into the supplied metal tins. No worries if you can't make it during the scheduled time, everyone that registers will receive a recording. And also a link to materials with details about these generous plant friends and step-by-step instructions to review or print for future reference.
