Spring Awakening Body Oil - supportive for those liminal times of year. Can be used during the Spring and Fall or when you have your own personal transitions you are navigating. This blend of goldenrod, yarrow, juniper and mugwort will protect and ground you into your body and support you in holding it down.

So simple, so pure, so luxurious.  I tossed out my body lotion years ago in exchange for these magical body oils.  Infused oils are excellent healing ingredients in salves, creams and scrubs, but my favorite use for them is straight up!  The hydration of the oil, coupled with the healing properties of the plant will soothe and hydrate your skin like nothing else.  
 
Please note that these oils are infused with the medicinal properties of the plants. They do not contain essential oils. They generally have a very subtle scent, if at all. 
 
HOW DO I USE IT?
Herbal body oiling is an ancient technique that brings calm and support to our entire beings. The nerves of our nervous system sit just below our skin throughout our bodies. Gently rubbing your skin with this herbal infused oil, calms the nervous system as the oil is absorbed through the skin. 
 
Use as you would any body lotion.  My favorite way is to glide it all over after a shower or bath, when my skin is still a bit damp.  It can be messy and is best to use on your full body when you have at least 10 minutes to be in a towel or bathrobe afterward - allowing the oil to sink in before getting dressed (the oil can stain your clothes).  When you have the time, oiling your body can be a self-care ritual fit for queens.  Breathing deeply and taking the time to caress your skin with the nourishing oil will leave you relaxed and centered.  I have even seen body oiling cause giddiness.  There is something about working this intimately with the plants that just goes to your heart!!
