As Winter retreats and Spring tentatively steps into view, our physical, mental, spiritual and emotional bodies (and spaces) may ask for a cleansing. Winter is stagnant and still and cold - as the weather turns, it's nice to a refresh and clear things out. To make way for something new. There's a reason that Spring Cleaning is a thing! Energetically and physically it's time to shift and move.
 
This blend supports that cleansing, opening, detoxing and renewing.  Great for lymph support and getting things moving and flushing, this tincture can be used on its own or may be found to be even more effective when paired with eating whole foods and eliminating or decreasing toxins like alcohol or cigarettes. 
 
Such common plants and considered weeds by some - the bedstraw, cleavers and chickweed are some of the first on the scene as the ground awakens. It's no coincidence! The plants arrive right on time and these three are here for cleansing and detoxing the lymphatic system. The alder catkins are stimulating and bitter, supporting digestion. Calendula is also a digestive ally and your skin's best friend. These cooling herbs are balanced out with the warming love of astragalus, juniper and yarrow.

HOW DO I USE IT?
Tinctures can be used for immediate action, but typically working with a plant over a period of time will result in greater benefit.  You can put the tincture directly in your mouth or it might be more pleasant to add to a small glass of water or other beverage given the sometimes strong alcohol taste. 
 
Start small with a half dropperful or so.  Up to 30 drops can be taken 1-3 x per day.
